Georgina Meinertzagen's was born Georgina Potter and this is her privately published memoir of that family from 1793 to 1845. The gift inscription is to her Godson, Aurthur Hobhouse, who went on to be a liberal politician and who is best known as the architect of the system of National parks of England and Wales.
