This little book is a compilation of text and drawings created by the children of Eric Gill and Hilary Pepler and printed by the St Dominic's Press. The press had been founded by Pepler in 1915-16 and was a focal point in the life of the Guild of St Joseph and St Dominic, a Roman Catholic art colony and experiment in communal life which Gill and Pepler founded at Ditchling in Sussex.
